FISHING REPORT
Queenscliff,Portsea, Port Phillip Heads & Bass Strait
QUEENSCLIFF HARBOUR
Well theTravelly have been hot this week and we are set for a great season.
Last ofthe Ebb Tide & Last of the Flood Tide is Best.
SoftPlastics and Chicken being the best baits.
A fewSnapper have also been caught up to 2.5kg being the biggest. Fresh Squid &Fresh flesh bait best on the Outgoing Tide
Salmon,Tommy Ruff and Mullet are plentiful, berling up is a must.

The Dirtywater continues which is not good for our large Spawners (Calamari)
howeverthe White Lady and the entrance to Swan Bay has produced smaller squid to 500grm – 1kg.
Queenscliff’sPier is still closed due to Renovations but Point Lonsdale is well worth a gofor a large squid or a Snapper.
Snapperhave started to move and is worth fishing for seriously.
BASS STRAIT – (Cape Schanck to Torquay)
Snapperhave started off shore down at Barwon Heads & Torquay.
Good fishto 6kg have been caught off Torquay with smaller fish to 2- 3kg have startedoff the Bluff at Barwon Heads in 36 metres.
School& Gummy Sharks have been taken on most trips.
Salmonhave been patchy out the back of the heads.
BeachFishing is a must this time of the year as the hot spot would be under theLighthouse at Queenscliff at low tide.
